Haven Stays & Hospitality began with a frustration our founder heard on repeat: coming to Dubai from abroad meant juggling a booking site, a visa typing centre, a tour agent and whichever driver you found at arrivals — none of whom spoke to each other.
Joshua Onyeka had spent a decade working with clients from Lagos, Abuja, Accra and London, and watched the same pattern each time. The flights were booked. Then the visa stalled because a document was not attested. Then nobody was at arrivals and the first evening went on a queue and an argument about the fare. Then the apartment was nothing like the photographs.
So we built the company that should have existed: licensed holiday homes, tours, visas and a chauffeur service under one roof, with one person accountable for all of it. And if a guest falls for the city and starts asking what it takes to own here, that conversation happens privately — never as a pitch.

Ten years in real estate and hospitality — first across West Africa, now on the ground in Dubai — and the person most clients deal with from the first WhatsApp message to the day they collect the keys.
Joshua began in property and hospitality serving buyers across Nigeria and the wider West African market, long before Dubai was the obvious answer. That decade taught him the questions an overseas buyer really has — not the ones a brochure answers, but the quiet ones about risk, transfer fees, who is actually holding the money and what happens if the plan changes.
He moved to Dubai and qualified as a registered property broker, working the residential and investment market from Business Bay. The clients followed: families relocating, first-time buyers making the largest purchase of their lives from three thousand miles away, and owners who had already been let down once by somebody who stopped answering the phone.
Haven Stays & Hospitality grew directly out of that work. A guest coming to Dubai should not need four companies and a stranger at arrivals — so Joshua built the one that handles the stay, the visa, the car and the itinerary together, and keeps the ownership conversation private until the client raises it themselves.
